How to teach the Alphabet - the Letter C for Circles and Clown

For the letter C I thought Clown would be fun. I originally thought that we could make the C into the clown, thinking the dots for his outfit with a head at the top and feet at the bottom so it's a curved body of the clown but Isla didn't think so. So we called the dots Circles and made a clown in the middle. I've learned to not force my idea and go with the flow.

 We used a circle punch to cut out the circles and we both glued them on. Then cut out shapes for the clown and she glued them down and drew the face.

She was very happy that on the chair she could reach and put that one up herself.
